Senate Bill 4 is a comprehensive housing bill that increases protections for tenants, increases the availability of affordable housing, and makes a meaningful investment in improved efficiency and clean energy in communities that need it most. Build Better CT is supporting this bill, which includes a $600 Million investment over 5 years for upgrading affordable housing in environmental justice communities, including remediating health and safety barriers and energy efficiency! Join us on Wednesday, May 17 at the Legislative Office Building for a lobby day to urge lawmakers to pass Senate Bill 4. At this event, you'll hear about the bill from advocates and the lawmakers who are championing it. You'll learn how to talk to lawmakers about the bill, and then we'll talk to lawmakers!
